Wow you really are here.
Well, this is pretty magical! I am typing words on my laptop keyboard and I can't believe these words are being projected onto your retinas! Modern technology is amazing!
Why don't we talk about the reality of writing a blog today? Unfortunately, you can't answer that question since I haven't set up my email yet. So I will just write whatever I want.
I write this on a blog on my own website, and in 2026, that practically means that I am sending a message in a bottle. A letter to the future with no postage attached. There's a magic in that. Somehow, this ephemeral corner of the interwebs (Its a series of tubes!) somehow made it to you. How goes it, future traveler? You know, I worked so hard to make your experience here enjoyable. This page loads in 30 milliseconds, html is served directly without any javascript in the backend. No zombocom experience for you, my friend. And yet, just the thought that someone other than me would one day read this, I am terrified that I would write something lackluster for the internet.
Maybe I'm overthinking this.
Maybe this is a performance for myself? I write not for you, but for me. This is my journal and you merely have a privilege to read it! Well, this certainly feels better. Why don't we do that?
Right, screw the audience.
In even more banal news: I slept ten hours last night and felt amazing, maybe I do that again today. What fun that will be!
